How Friendship Begins Poem by Athena Plante Little Bit Lost

They were only two complete strangers,
waiting in line to get on the ride.
Until life chose that once they got on,
they would be seated side by side.

The minute that they got on the ride,
their journey of friendship would start.
Two people that were just strangers,
would now protect each other's heart.

Through all of the rides highs and lows,
when their world seemed upside down.
Through all of the crazy twists and turns,
side by side as friends they'd be found.

Life made sure they shared the excitement,
and together they had nothing to fear.
Life made sure they shared lots of laughter
as well as their pain and their tears.

Life made sure these two strangers,
would never have to feel alone.
Because as long as they had each other,
they would always feel at home.

So the journey of their friendship began
when life sat the two strangers side by side.
It changed both their lives forever and
it gave them one hell of a friendship ride.
