Scared To Death Poem by Athena Plante Little Bit Lost

Scared To Death

I'm afraid of ever dating again,
I'm afraid to try make new friends.
Because I'm scared to death of ever
getting close to someone again.

I'm afraid of moving forward,
I'm afraid I'll stay stuck in the past.
Because I'm scared to death of
not knowing if it will end or last.

I'm afraid to keep on living,
I'm afraid to soon, I will die.
Because I've already been scared to death,
by way to many goodbyes.

I'm afraid of always being alone,
I'm afraid of getting intertwined.
I've already been scared to death,
by every time I've been left behind.

I'm afraid to want to remember,
I'm afraid that I might forget.
Either one scares me to death,
because I don't know which I'll regret.

I'm afraid of always being afraid,
and I'm afraid of being brave too.
I'm scared to death that being
scared to death is all I'll ever do.
