She's Gone Poem by shra wan

She's Gone

Where are you
the face i couldn't take my eyes off
those piercing eyes that saw through my soul
the tenderness of your touch
the divineness of your presence
where are they
what have you done to them

All these years
not a moment flew
without me thinking about you
the moments we had, kept me up at night

Now the wait is over
the dawn has struck
but the darkness still persists
for i can't find you
at least the one i called home

the seductively fascinating thought,
which once kept me up at night
now convinces me to sleep
Not even a deep sleep
can tiptoe my mind away from you

The universe whispers your absence
But i still feel your breath blowing on my face
your hand brushing on my hair
the faint arc on your lips
then the universe gives a gentle reminder
She's gone
