Lying in bed,
another morning,
another day,
'What am I supposed to do, by the way? '
Like a wind, you came.
Like a wind, you left.
Sadness has engulfed me.
River of tears paved way on my face.
All I can see is regret & pain.
Tissues beside the bed.
Painkillers to soothe the head.
It's like some kind of weight
pressing down on my chest.
Your gentle smile.
Your shining eyes.
Your assurance that
'everything's going to be alright.'
Oh! ! ! I miss all of these.
Time went by, I healed.
Though not swiftly, but still, I healed.
I have cherished the memories.
I will always remember you in my prayers.
That's my way of saying,
'I do care...'
