Lover's Moon Poem by Ardiente Antonio

Lover's Moon

Oh, how lovely you are.

How open-going the simple gesture of the lift of your lips, or the care in your eyes for one's well-being.

You are not just 'down to Earth' malady, you act beyond a human. It reminds me of a crimson solar eclipse, this version of you.

When all the world is shaded in bleeding red, only you would treat the day as fair as the ones that have come to pass.

While others be afraid and clueless, you will be right where you belong. An irregular beautiful thing you are. My deepest condolences.

For if you were to tell me how you came to be, I may never stop crying.

Even if I were to give you all the hugs I could ever offer for the rest of my years, it would never be enough to erase the misery kept deep inside your soul.

I'm sorry, Lover's Moon.
