A love that once flourished, like a garden in bloom
But now withers away, beneath a shadowy gloom
He'd visit his mother, and a change would come over him
A transformation, like a switch that would dim
His words, once sweet, turned bitter and cold
Arguments sparked, like embers, leaving scars old
Their love, once a refuge, now a battleground
Their hearts, once united, now divided, like a profound
In his mother's presence, a spell was cast
Their love lost its magic, like a tale that wouldn't last
But when apart, their love would revive and thrive
A fleeting reprieve, before the toxic tide would arrive
Now their bond is fragile, like a leaf in the wind
A delicate balance, between love and the end
Can they break the curse, and restore what they had?
Or will the poisonous influence forever make them sad?
Only God's grace, can mend the tear,
And restore the love, that once was so clear.
So they'll turn to Him, in prayer and faith,
Seeking guidance, to escape the toxic wraith.
For only God's love, can heal the pain,
And restore the relationship, to its former gain.
