Perfume And Honey Poem by Hamid eldood Mahdi

Perfume And Honey

The odour that intoxicates me - ‎
Is it from your breath or perfume? ‎
The hands that enfold me - ‎
Are they human's or Godly ones? ‎
The hair that enrobes me -‎
Is it a nymph's or an angle's? ‎

Answer me NOT! ‎

Remember? my head rests on your bosom! ‎
A feeling that I wish would last, ‎
Creating a lasting impression of fusion! ‎
A sense of healing, adhesion, and cohesion.‎

The eyes that dwells in the shade of poplars, ‎
Momentarily stare at me, ‎
Shooting me with feverish flames of passion ‎
Enkindling in, scorching fires round my heart's core! ‎

The scent that your body does exude ‎
Flare up in, the ember of sweet unity, ‎
Spiritualized by infinite affinity, ‎

The scene evokes the moment
‎ Saintly togetherness, ‎
‎ Sublime integrity, ‎
‎ Sacred solidarity, ‎
‎ Heavenly loyalty.‎

Let it be - if it is from your Breath or Perfume! ‎
The BP- Godly honey- meet and mingle in you- with Me! ‎

‎ I must admit! ! ! ‎
You are the source of my inspiration, ‎
A spring of great expectations, ‎
A glimmer of light and motivation, ‎
A glimpse of hope in times of frustration.‎

I must admit ‎
It is not me, but a hidden driving force, ‎
‎ Pushes me, ‎
‎ urges me, ‎
‎ Stimulates me, ‎
‎ Stirs me ‎
To nail myself, to pin it down around your angelic dome. ‎

I must admit ‎
I yearn for you- long for the wildflowers' smell, ‎
Though it is a mere tinkling dream, ‎
I yearningly and gleefully enjoy it, ‎
‎ though bitterly swallow it! ! ‎

I swear and admit, I neither resist the spring fragrance you yield, ‎
Nor the magic roundness of your eyes around which, ‎
Not only revolve ‎
‎ But dissolve! ‎

‎ Still feel it, ‎
‎ Live in it, ‎
‎ With it, ‎
‎ For it, ‎
‎ Forever! ‎
