🌚Beneath The Moonlight Poem by Victor Geld

🌚Beneath The Moonlight

Rating: 5.0

The moon hurtles across the sky
A slow and lonely mass,
It's made of cocaine not cheese,
How else would you explain
That beautiful, cold, white light
An enchanting and strange creature
Is the moon,
A ball of white fur,
From the back of an old giant,
A sign of an almost mythical grandeur
A shadowless enigma_
The night sky's crowning jewel
To describe this rock Of dust and sulfur_
In this most peculiar manner;
Perhaps the madness is mine own,
Or mine to share
