A Mountain High Poem by Sweet Carolina

A Mountain High

A Mountain High

Upon A Mountain High, we find our stride,
In Valleys Low, love and reassurance reside.
With peace around, abundance in our grasp,
We're cradled by the mountain's gentle clasp.

Yet beyond the trees, is a world we can't foresee, In paradise or scarcity, where we'll be.
The valley's home, it's all we've ever known,
But in our hearts, seeds of curiosity are sown.

In life, our minds yearn for what's rare and bold,
We leave the valley, seeking treasures untold.
Climbing the tallest hill with hopes so high,
Only to realize we were chasing a fleeting sky.

From this lonely hill, the valley's charms reappear, What once seemed mundane, now precious and clear. The lonely hill becomes our new abode, When the valley was all we thought we were owed.

The road to A Mountain High, it's no easy ride,
Loneliness and strife, forever by your side.
Few dared venture from the valley's embrace,
To chase a glorious life in this vast open space.

We toil away, day and night, with all our might,
Hoping the future's promise will be worth the fight.
Yet this lonely road becomes our home, you see,
The valley's warmth, a distant memory.

At the peak of the Mountain, we dare to speak,
But our words echo back, strong and unique.
It's only us, our echoes, and the vast unknown,
A new path, for others, to call their own.

From mountains to hills and valleys below,
Life's journey takes us where we choose to go.
